How many seasons does the country Chile have?

Do they have Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring? or tell me how many seasons and what they are please. And how long(timeperiods) are the seasons. and what is the weather like durring those. Thanks.

Chile is a long country from North to South, so there are a variety of climate zones.



To the north, there's the Atacama Desert, where there's next to no rain and almost no difference between Summer and Winter, as it's located around the Tropic of Capricorn.



As you go south, the climate becomes Semiarid first, then Mediterranean, then Oceanic and Subpolar Oceanic in the far south. Most of the country has all four seasons, with most rain falling during winter.



There's a small strip of semiarid Patagonian Desert in the far southeast, and Alpine/Tundra climate in the Andes Mountains. Easter Island has a humid subtropical maritime climate, with year round rain and mild winters.
